Did you know... about the Cook Islands?

By Janelle Graustein

The little known Cook Islands are located between Tahiti and Fiji in the South Pacific. The Cook Islands is mainly comprised of two main tourist class islands- Rarotonga and Aitutaki- as well as 13 other smaller islands. The Cooks offer the overwater bungalows and gorgeous crystal blue water seen in Moorea and Bora Bora and it's less crowded.

The Cooks may not offer the oppulence of the Four Seasons or St. Regis Bora Bora, but it doesn't come with the giant price tag either. The Cooks use the New Zealand Dollar, so say good bye to the conversions based on the dreaded Euro and hello to a more budget friendly exotic escape!
